What is a Sewer Scope?

A sewer scope is a video inspection of the sewer line going from the house to the city sewer or septic tank. The homeowner, not the city (read more), is responsible for the sewer line until it connects to the sewer, including the line under sidewalks and streets.

The equipment consists of a camera head connected to a

fiber optic cable, which is then connected to a video display

and recorder.

Our equipment uses advanced features such as a color camera with a self-leveling head, so it is easier for you to understand what you are seeing in the video. The camera head also has a built-in transmitter, so we can use a handheld receiver to locate where and how deep the issue is located.

We provide a video of the sewer line along with pictures of the issues

with the location and depth, so a plumber can quote the cost of repairs if needed.
